This is the story of the white storks of southwest Portugal. The only place in the world where these emblematic animals nest on cliffs, in a unique ecosystem where two worlds meet: the Atlantic and the Mediterranean. The storks are a symbol of this region, and have been preserved over the millennia. This documentary portrays some of its natural history and how the local human lifestyle contributes to the desired balance of the ecosystem.
