Following the four seasons of the year, we will discover the life of the most emblematic animals of Romania and we will unfold the story of the most amazing natural landscapes. The journey begins with the long-awaited arrival of spring, a season of hope when most animals prepare for a new cycle of life. From the harsh life of the chamois, in the high Carpathian Mountains, to the courtship dance of the capercaillie, or the siblings' drama unfolding in a golden eagle nest, the start of a new year is never easy. Summer is the season of plenty, a time when the young animals are starting to enjoy the beauty of life and accept the challenges of nature. We will travel to the Transylvanian Highlands, in search of the cutest residents of the area, we will venture in the storms of the highest mountains and we will settle down in the biggest wetland of the continent, the Danube Delta, in search of the beautiful great white pelicans. The story will come to an end with the arrival of autumn which will turn into winter once more. The Romanian primeval forests are bursting with vibrant colours and this season of change will bring new challenges for the wildlife. Winter is the time when hunters are thriving, a time when big packs of wolves and the enigmatic lynx are now the rulers of the land. From the high peaks of the Carpathian Mountains, the land of the brown bear, to the wetlands of the Danube Delta, a birds' paradise, we will unveil the best kept secrets of Europe’s wilderness.
