As the last days of summer 2005 wound down, hundreds of excited engaged couples were putting the finishing touches to wedding plans for the days ahead. But the catastrophic hurricane Katrina struck on 29 August, and changed everything. This special meets two couples from New Orleans whose lives were forever changed by Hurricane Katrina. Both couples lost everything and now do not have the resources to hold their postponed weddings. By working secretly with their friends and families, host Sandy Ferreira surprises both couples with the surprise wedding of their dreams! We fly in the families and friends, we will throw them fantastic receptions and we will do our part to erase the pain caused by the hurricane.
