Justin Bonello embarks on a journey to tell the incredible stories buried in the dust of the Great Karoo of Southern Africa and gets back in touch with a way of life which is slowly fading away.

Dependant on the legendary warmth and hospitality of the Karoo people, Justin’s mission is simple: to walk in the shoes of the people who live in this harsh landscape and to gain insight into a lifestyle which has disappeared because of the way we choose to live. He is going to discover, interact, cook with and tell the stories of the land of thirst and its’ people in the hope to gain insight into their unique way of life.

Justin hopes to meet the unconventional, extraordinary and rare characters that define the landscape and the culture of the thirsty place.
