We are beating up the planet. Too many people have short term interest and are more focused on what they want now. We should be more focused on long term decisions. One thing is for sure: the world is changing, and every living species has to adapt. “Biodiversity is the way of nature to show redundancy” so Daniel Pauly from the University of Columbia. We should listen to some of the most prominent minds of the ecological and scientific world. Biodiversity exists not only in an ecosystem, but within a species itself and allows it to evolve and adapt. But if the species loses its diversity, will the ecosystem survive?
